Would You Eat 70 Cubes Of Sugar Each Week? Probably NOT!

Most of us know that refined white sugar is NOT healthful. We wouldn’t think of eating 10 cubes of sugar each day, yet many of us would think nothing of drinking a can of Coca-Cola™ a day.

We all keep reading about the ludicrous amounts of sugar content in our daily drinks. The amount seems not so comprehensible, when you read a 12 oz.   • One 12 Oz can of Coca-Cola has 39g of sugar (or approximately 10 cubes)
  • One 20 oz. bottle has 65 grams (16.5 cubes)
  • A 1 liter bottle has 108 grams (approximately 27.5 cubes)
  • A big gulp (32 oz.) Coca-Cola from 7-Eleven™ has 91 grams (22.75 cubes)
  • A Super Big Gulp (44 oz.) has 128 grams (32 cubes)
  • Mountain Dew™ has 15% more sugar than coke;  a 20 oz. bottle has 77g or (19.5 cubes)
  • A typical 8 oz. energy drink has between 27 -31 grams of sugar or (6.75 – 7.75 cubes)

Based on one (1) can of Coca-Cola per day, a person would consume the equivalent of 221,314 cubes of sugar over the average adult lifetime of 60.634 years.  That’s nearly a quarter million cubes of sugar!
